OVERVIEW

Since 2006, our firm’s mission is to help undergraduates and graduates make a seamless transition from campus to their careers. Over the years we have gained an understanding what key skill sets our associates need to succeed after graduation, and what our clients are looking for in their future work force.

With that knowledge, we have developed the Jobologi Program. Jobologi is the science behind getting the perfect job and finding the perfect new hire.

How it works: All associates must be accepted into the program and must complete five experiences during their 6 or 12-month program. The Experiences: Client Work experience, Team Building Events, Professional Development Workshops, Industry Shadowing, and health and wellness activities that will help our associates understand how to have an equal work life balance. Once all five experiences are completed, all associates will qualify for InternU’s Fingerprints program, providing scholarships or student debt relief.

InternU continues to experience significant growth and is hiring. Our program is seeking an Entry Level Data Reporting Specialist.

This highly visible position will analyze and improve upon the data sources, flows and implementations across the Advisor Market. You will be working closely with internal and external teams to identify, develop, and implement product and technology based solutions to increase operational efficiency, improve accuracy, and mitigate operational risk. You will be responsible for interpreting and full understanding of business requirements, translating those requirements into documented technical specifications and managing the overall custom reporting and file extract projects. Additionally, you will be asked to educate the operations teams on our products/solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Monitor existing data feeds and implement ways to improve data flow, data quality and data consumption
  • Create reports for internal teams and/or external clients
  • Script process automation via SQL, Python, Third-Party ETLs
  • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
  • Structure large data sets to find usable information
  • Work with a team of analysts and other associates to process information
  • Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings

  • Coding skills in languages such as SQL, Python and/or R

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning and transforming techniques

  • Reporting and data visualization skills using software like PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau

  • Understanding of data warehousing and ETL techniques

  • Ability to set and meet deadlines

  • Ability to work in high-pressure situations

  • Experience with statistical software

  • Technical writing skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Strong written/verbal communication skills

  • Ability to QA and troubleshoot data environment
